Will this make me high?

No our products will not get you high! CBD is 100% non-psychoactive, meaning it doesn’t negatively impact your mind or mental process. In other words, CBD does not get you 'high' or stoned. There is no mental slowness or haziness caused by CBD.

How is CBD different from marijuana?

The defining difference between marijuana and CBD is the percentage of THC. Marijuana refers to strains of cannabis that contain high levels of THC. CBD refers to strains of cannabis containing less than 0.3% THC.

Is CBD legal in my state?

Envy CBD’s products are made with CBD extracted from the industrial CBD plant. This type of CBD has less than 0.3% THC and does not alter the mind like other drugs. Envy CBD is proud to offer CBD that complies with The 2014 Farm Bill because our products contain 0% THC. This is why we are allowed by U.S. Federal law to conveniently ship to your doorstep. However, it is important to note that policies and laws regulating CBD are always being updated.

What kind of testing/analysis is performed on your products?

Third party laboratories analyze all of our full-spectrum CBD extracts and supplements for cannabinoid potency, heavy metals, bacterial/microbial life, mycotoxins (fungus), and pesticides. Our isolate is tested for potency, heavy metals, and pesticides. The unsummarized results of testing for all produced batches can be found here and here.

Where do you source your CBD-derived crystalline CBD isolate?

We use 100% Kentucky-grown CBD extract within all our products. Their CBD is produced in a FDA registered food-grade facility. These CBD crops are sustainably farmed on US family farms and are free of pesticides.

What is the body's Endocannabinoid System?

The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is a recently discovered group of endogenous cannabinoid receptors found throughout the body. The endocannabinoid receptors that make up the ECS are located in our Central Nervous System (CNS), Peripheral Nervous System (PNS), and Immune System. Our CNS includes our brain and spinal cord, while the PNS acts as a communication network linking our CNS to the rest of our body. Our brains contain the heaviest concentration of cannabinoid receptors, but there’s no shortage of them in our organs, tissues, glands, and more. The saturation of ECS receptors throughout our body is part of why CBD has so many uses and is so effective.

What serving of CBD should I take?

A number of factors determine your ideal CBD serving. This can include your weight, metabolism, and genetics, among others. Because each individual’s endocannabinoid system is unique, some people may only require a small amount of CBD to receive their desired benefits, while others may require much higher serving to experience the same effects.  If this is your first time trying CBD, we recommend starting with a small serving of only 10-25mg and increasing it later if desired. CBD can take time to work, so wait up to 2 hours before ingesting another serving. Some people may require a much larger serving of CBD to get the desired effect. As a gauge, our products have been formulated to provide the average adult with a proper dose for the respective method of use, and they will have detailed instructions on using them. If you have further questions on dosages, please consult your general healthcare practitioner.

Do I need a prescription or medical card to place an order?

Nope! A prescription or medical card in not needed to place an order.

Is it safe to take CBD while pregnant?

In short, there’s not been enough research yet to determine the full safety of taking CBD while pregnant. Studies investigating CBD consumption are almost non-existent. While we are not aware of any serious adverse effects that have been observed from taking CBD during pregnancy, we recommend that those pregnant first discuss taking CBD with a prenatal care physician.

Will I fail a drug test?

We cannot guarantee any specific results for a drug test. Although there is zero THC within our products, some drug tests may search for all cannabinoids, including CBD, which is active in our products. Based on this information, if you are subject to any form of drug screening or testing, we cannot recommend that you ingest this product. Please consult with your healthcare practitioner as well as your employer or drug screening company.

Why is my MCT oil tincture turning pink or purple?

Coconut and/or MCT oil contains naturally occurring variations in levels of antioxidants, such as polyphenols, that can turn pink. All of our MCT oil is clear when bottled; however some bottles turn pink or purple with time when the antioxidants interact with light and/or oxygen. This does not change the quality or effectiveness of our oils. In fact, it actually verifies the high quality of our MCT oil.

Cannabinoid receptors are present throughout your body in larger quantities than any other receptor system. Researchers have identified two cannabinoid receptors.

CBD 1: Mostly present in the nervous system, connective tissues, and organs

CBD 2: Mostly present in the immune system.

Activating these endocannabinoid receptors helps regulate your mood, appetite and other physiological processes.

Phytocannabinoids are plant substances that stimulate these endocannabinoid receptors. Cannabinoids such as cannabidiol (CBD) and cannabinol (CBN) are flooding the market due to their variety of health properties.

We source organically grown Hemp that is cultivated in the United States. Next we extract our cannabidiol through Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) and ensure it receives thorough testing in a third party laboratory. We want to produce the purest, most trustworthy CBD Oil on the market.
